Scientology - Testimonys

Tom Smith from Hawk Radio interviews former scientologist
Mike Henderson about his 34 years in the cult

Beaucoup de gens vient la scientologie comme une secte légèrement farfelue. Ceci est malheureux parce que la réalité est sérieuse et sinistre.

Most people still see Scientology as a slightly wacky cult. This is unfortunate because the reality is both serious and sinister.

THIS IS WHY WE PROTEST

Portland, Oregon - March 11, 2008

Susan Lentsch is issuing a public statement on March 15 at the Scientology Headquarters Los Angeles, CA, calling on her daughter's employer, the Church of Scientology, to permit her daughter, Katherine "Kate" Olson, to come home from Los Angeles to Portland to visit her family.

Ms. Lentsch has seen Kate for only six days during the past 15 years.

The Church of Scientology has forbidden Kate to leave the facility where she both works and is housed in order to visit family.

Kate was recruited into the Sea Organization (Sea Org)in 1993, at age 17. Susan Lentsch, at that time a Scientologist, signed papers permitting her minor daughter to become a Sea Org employee; Ms. Lentsch states she signed the forms under pressure and while influenced by Scientology indoctrination.

"At that time, being a Scientologist, I saw it as an honor that my daughter qualified for the 'elite' corps known as the Sea Organization."

She was reassured during the recruitment process that her daughter would get room, board, medical and dental care, and vacations.

"My upset with the Sea Org is that it has not honored the Scientology Staff Contract my daughter signed 15 years ago, which stated that Sea Org members are permitted three (3) weeks Holiday per continuous active year."

Time after time, Kate's vacation requests have been denied by her employer, the Sea Org.

Kate was denied permission to attend a Christmas family reunion in Minnesota, "The phone call from Kate notifying me that she could not leave for the reunion was particularly disturbing.

"Kate was crying when she was put on the speaker phone to say hello to her grandparents during the reunion."

In recent years, Kate's infrequent phone conversations with her have changed. "Kate began sounding like a broken record, always saying 'everything is fine'. "

She later learned that outbound and inbound calls to Sea Org staff are monitored and staff are drilled on what to say to family.

"This explained why Kate and I seemed to be playing 'pretend' during our phone conversations--like there was an inexplicable wall between us."

She met a past co-worker of Kate's, who had personally witnessed Kate being physically abused in the Sea Org.

She confronted Kate with the information about the abuse, Kate was quite flustered, did not deny the allegation, and made statements to downplay the abuse incident and protect the Scientology image.

"Living in fear and under threats is not spiritual to me. The administration of the Church of Scientology is an oppressive organization."

Ms. Lentsch believes that Kate is in poor health and is not receiving medical treatment.

"This is the worst betrayal."

"Scientology is perhaps one of the biggest worrys in this world today, the fact that news media and companies fear printing anti Scientology Material from fear of law suits and the dangerous methods this 'Religion' uses to make money are far from safe !

As a Psychologist and Neuro Linguistic Programmer I see lots of wrong from scientology and an outcry of people from all walks of life using the name 'anonymous' to safly protest against scientology. If you believe this is not needed then i'd ask you to talk to the many Hypnotists and others i have met that scientology have pretty much chased away from thier citys to get away from scientology harrasment.

I am transgendered and in scientology my happyness means nothing other than i have messed up 'Ethics' if you show anything other than happyness its your fault. In that sense they are opposed to Gays / Transsexuals / Bisexuals and other people with similar problems.

Also they have an Anti Psychiatry aproach which is very dangerous I myself think the drugs are over used BUT if you take these drugs away from psychotic or dangerous mentally ill people you will be causing murder on a grand scale.

Scientologys mission is the world wide distruction of psychiatry and psychology and the spreading of thier warped message.

If you join scientology which is classifided as a religion yet you can actually be in any other religion and be a scientologist, all you'll be learning is hypnosis and pre dated psychiatric treatments to brainwash yourself into happyness.

My new preposed Tactic to Anon and others like me that Need NOT call themselfs anon, is to start demonstrating outside our government for example at the UK parliment and 10 Downing street, Scientology has proved thier gonna just try to  block out our cry to spread awareness about them. So now is the time to take this into the political spotlight. Also in England ...

Premiership football games are televised so lets get some Anon protestors spreading awareness at big matches etc.

We need to raise the profile of this protest as if people feel its going nowhere they will stop trying. And freedom of religion should Include the Athests rights to believe there is no god. That still takes faith, I feel that critical thinking is something this world needs its VERY dangerous when a group can continue unopposed and un critisied for so long.

Keep up the good fight Anon."

I worked as a contract programmer for this cult back in 1987 at their North Hollywood location off the 101 freeway, it was my first paid programming job and let me tell you these people are wierdos.

They dress just like the Navy, blue uniform in the winter and white in the summer, they take roll call just like in the army and they have ranks such as CO (commanding officer) as others you would find in the armed forces

The swear all the time, the F word can be heard many times a day, some of their members are professionals such as doctors, programmers, lawyers but for some reason are conned into working free for the church in exchange for $40/week plus room & board, a room sometimes is shared by 2 or 4 people

If a member messes up (make a mistake or something like that) he/she would be punished like mopping the floor, cleaning the window, etc for weeks, they don;t really care if you were a doctor, lawyer, teacher in your "previous" life .

Yes, they did try to recruit me and to no avail, I guess being an atheist has its advantage LOL

They don't beleive in medicine and they hate psychiatrists & psychologists (I suppose those people are their main competition), members are not allowed to take any kind of medicine including common OTC drugs such as Tylenold, Advil, etc the only thing they allow to take is vitamins

Lot of times I look at these ex-lawyers, ex-doctors and I said to myself "how stupid can one be ??? "

Berlin, 15.03.2008: Anonymous protests Scientology

The first part with the protesters marching towards the Berlin Org was shot from the back of our partytruck (with full blown police escort). The black haired guy with the microphone is Christian Markert, a former high-ranking Scientologist. When Christian yells at the Scientologists who were pretending to have a lame "Human Rights" themed party across the street, he says: "You're talking about freedom rights. Which freedom rights did Lisa McPherson have ? Comm Cycle! Which freedom rights did Lisa McPherson have ?" And the speech at the end is the German translation of The Global Speech.
