Niece of Scientology's leader backs Cruise biography (AFP - Jan 29, 2008) Biography of David Miscavige by Ray Hill (extracts) (alt.religion.scientology - Feb, 2, 2008) David Miscavige, the leader of the scientology, is a scorning man (Testimony of a swiss staff - November 2005)
David Miscavige and scientology show open contempt THE CULT OF SCIENTOLOGY and DAVID MISCAVIGE : A very sad Church, a very little man David Miscavige, the «pope» of the US Church of Scientology in Los Angeles refused my letterSince the airing of the controversial South Park’s episode, the scientology is losing followers. A growing number of victims are deceived by the lack of intellectual honesty of Mr. David Miscavige, a “pope-wannabe” of a Church who pretends having 8 millions followers in the world … but who refuses to read our mail. "2001 saw us shooting down SPs like 'ducks in a pond.'" dixit David Miscavige (A Suppressive Person (SP) is an evil person; someone who criticizes Scientology in any way) «Without a great many Clears, no real effective leadership is possible for man» (David Miscavige) «No, it's not the enemy. We cream them whenever they raise their heads»

Niece of Scientology's leader backs Cruise biography Tom Cruise and David Miscavige (1989 Los Angeles)
PARIS (AFP) — The author of a controversial new biography on celebrity Scientologist Tom Cruise has found an unexpected new ally: the niece of Scientology's current leader, David Miscavige. In an open letter to a senior Scientology official that has been widely posted on the Internet, Jenna Miscavige Hill described how her own family was broken apart by the movement's policies. Hill's father is Ron Miscavige, the older brother of David Miscavige, the current leader of the Church of Scien- tology. "Hell, if Scientology can't keep his family together -- then why on earth should anyone believe the church helps brings families together !" she wrote. Hill, 23, wrote the letter after Scientology attacked writer Andrew Morton's recently published book "Tom Cruise: an Unauthorised Biography". The actor is a vocal advocate for the movement and the book gives it extensive coverage. In a 15-page statement issued on January 14, Karin Pouw, the movement's public affairs director, denounced the book as a "bigoted defamatory assault replete with lies". But in her reply to Pouw, Hill retorted: "I am absolutely shocked at how vehemently you insist upon not only denying the truths that have been stated about the church in that biography, but then take it a step further and tell outright lies." In particular she challenges Scientology's denial that it puts pressure on members to break all contact with relatives who do not support the movement -- a practice known as disconnection. Hill said it was this policy that broke up her own family. "As you well know, my parents officially left the church when I was 16 in 2000," she wrote. Having been separated from them since the age of 12, she decided not to go with them. But she added: "Not only was I not allowed to speak to them, I was not allowed to answer a phone for well over a year, in case it was them calling me." Hill goes on to detail how Scientology officials intercepted letters from her parents and her friends. She was only allowed to visit her parents once a year for a maximum of four days, she wrote -- and then only after her parents threatened legal action to get access. When she returned from these visits, she was questioned to see if her parents had said anything bad about the movement. Asked about the Hill's statement, Pouw told AFP: "The church stands by its statement of 14 January. The church does not respond to newsgroup postings." Contacted by AFP, Hill said she had circulated the letter to draw attention to the practice of disconnection. "My intention is to put it on a public forum so they are pressured into changing their ways -- even if it is just to cover for themselves." Founded in the United States in 1954 by science-fiction writer L. Ron Hubbard, the Church of Scientology was officially recognised as a religion there nearly 20 years later. But it is often accused in Germany and other European countries, including Belgium, France and Greece, of exploiting its members financially. Morton's book is currently at the top of the New York Times bestseller list for hardback non-fiction after its first week on sale. |

Biography of David Miscavige on xenu-directory.net
* Added a fair use excerpt of Tom Cruise praising David Miscavige Tom Cruise: "I will tell you something. I have never met a more
confident, a more intelligent, a more tolerant, a more compassionate
being, aside what I've experienced from [L. Ron Hubbard], and I've met
the leaders of leaders, ok, I've met them all. So I say to you Sir COB
we are lucky to have you and thank you very much." * Added John Peeler's account re. David Miscavige One girl who
had been in this prison for over a year is possibly still there. One of the
security guards told me that she would never be able to leave due to the
fact that she had worked directly with David Miscavige in his office and
"knows too much confidential information". She is a very small girl, not
very strong, so for her to leave on her own would be nearly impossible. [it
would be nice to have an update on that girl] * Added fair use excerpt of Don Larson's comments on 1987 BBC Panorama Don Larson: "[...] David Miscavige comes up, grabs him by the tie
and starts bashing him into the filing cabinet. And he's thrown out in the
street; his tie is ripped off. Um, this is just a warm-up kind of bash.
[...]" * Added Bruce Hines' comments on the radio show The Edge [43m32s] [...] Suddenly I hear out in the hallway David Miscavige
yelling quite loud, and he says, "Where is that ...", and he used a
profane word, "mf" word. [...] He is known for this type of language,
you can ask anybody. [...] He sort of appears in the doorway of my
office and he said, "There he is!", and he strode up to me and hit me on
the side of the head. [...] It was enough force to knock me back. [...] * Added fair use excerpt from Andrew Morton's book (as reported by Chuck Beatty here, as I am not in a position to read the book yet) Guy
White, Hubbard's son-in-law, came in for this treatment one evening when
Miscavige and others accused him of committing "crimes." Miscavige ripped
the lanyards from his uniform, spat on him, and slapped his face ... Anyway, by collecting these various references, I am trying to dress a
picture of who is David Miscavige. Ray Hill |
Le témoignage de Jo: L'Eglise de scientologie de Lausanne s'est jouée de moi David Miscavige, the leader of the scientology, is a scorning man Testimony of Jo, employee of the scientology in Lausanne (Extracts - Translation with Altavista ... ) Whereas I was employed Church of scientology and that I had just lost my husband, I was forced to go to work in the USA in Los Angeles for the scientology. It was a question of paying by my work a debt concerning the arrival of an American missionary in Lausanne. As of my arrival, I was in contact with David Miscavige, the big boss of the sea-organization and the Church of scientology. I could note on several occasions which it was exaggeratedly imbu of itself and which it made a point of showing us that it had all the rights. Here are some examples: - In a crammed elevator of employees David Miscavige at all did not hesitate to be caught some to a young woman ! - David Miscavige with vehement gestures was even caught some to the girl of Ron Hubbard. That occurred in front of a floor from all the principal persons in charge for the sea-organization. David Miscavige by snubing (to snub) thus publicly the girl of Hubbard wanted to show us that he was his only successor. - David Miscavige, present sometimes in the bus which brought back for us to the dormitory, ordered to me on an authoritative tone: "Rises! - Leave your place!". I was tired and older than him. I refused and it became furious. At his sides was Guillaume Lesèvre another leader of the scientology which, undoubtedly seeing the awkwardness of its chief, interposed and authorized me to remain sitted. Sitting down beside me it asked me what I did there. It had met me little time before at the time of a visit to the Church of scientology of Lausanne at the time when, of a simple mission, the organization became a Church. But to escape from the claws from the scientologists, I could only answer him that all was well. (Note: It should be known that the least critic or hesitation is seen as a sign of treason which of continuation is reported to the internal police force of the scientology) After this incident David Miscavige communicated never again with me. I felt whereas it was a man who had contempt towards his employees. The following day I had right to a control of safety. One wanted to know, among other things, how that was made it that I knew a leader of the scientology. The complete testimony of Jo (in French)
