Dear Sir or Madam,

As an ex-member of Scientology, I have created this website which includes photos and videos, with the scope of warning our teenagers against the dangers of Scientology's pseudo-therapies sold at very high prices. These pseudo-therapies induce false memories and do not follow doctors' code of practice.

You will find on my site a study on mental manipulation written by my friend Professor of Philosophy Roland Huckel of Strasbourg (containing concepts which should be taught in our schools), as well as many articles and testimonies describing Scientology's crushing manipulative techniques.

Do not hesitate to contact me if you have any questions or if you need advice to help a loved-one caught inside Scientology.

I would also like to publish an anthology of testimonies describing the difficulties encountered after leaving a cult. (Since Scientology followers feel obliged to attack anyone who dares testify about their bad experience in their group, we can discuss the precautions to be taken for the publishing of such testimonies.)

For more than half a century, the Church of Scientology has been America's most controversial religious movement: known for its appeal to celebrities like Tom Cruise, its requirement that believers pay as much as hundreds of thousands of dollars for salvation and its storied history of harassing journalists and others through litigation and intimidation, even infiltrating the highest levels of the government to further its goals. It has been called a "cult" and even a "mafia" by its critics; to Scientologists it's "the fastest growing religion in the world." But what, beyond the media hype, is Scientology actually about?

L Ron Hubbard, the founder of Scientology, gives a lecture on the 3rd October 1968 on board his ship: 'Apollo.' This lecture is the tenth in the series and it is titled: 'Assists.' I've omitted the first 43 minutes and approximately the latter 20 minutes of this lecture. So what you hear is just the unedited middle section of this idiotic lecture.

MENTAL MANIPULATION

Mental manipulation definition by the professor Roland Huckel

Mental manipulation takes place between an influencer and a person who is influenced (between a control- ler and a person who is controlled…). When attempting to establish a balance of power and to influence those around us, "mental control" functions as an upstream global strategy to dominate. Instead, mental manipulation techniques function as downstream localized field tactics. The main difference between the two, is that mental control is exercised continuously (for instance, a country's police and political surveil- lance), whereas mental manipulation is discontinuous and seeks favourable circumstances (as a localized police intervention).

Definition. Mental manipulation is a technique: an influencer takes advantage of an opportunity to surrep- titiously divert for his own personal profit and prestige, material and moral resources (strengths and weak- nesses, hopes and fears) of the trusting persons who are being influenced.

The terrible recurring effect is that every manipulated person becomes first a self-manipulator (he lies to himself and shapes himself through ritualized exercises), and then manipulates those around him. In other words, he becomes a mini-guru !

Three progressive levels of gravity are to be distinguished:

1. Mild mental manipulation manoeuvres

2. Strong mental manipulation manoeuvres

3. Crushing mental manipulation manoeuvres

Scientology's Rehabilitation Project Force

Scientology calls them REHABILITATION PROJECT FORCE Camps (or RPF's). The NAZI's called them Concentration Camps. To the SOVIETS they were Gulags. They're all the same thing. Places designed to BREAK THE SPIRIT and the BODY of their "Criminal" Inmates.

So, who ends up in the RPF ?

1. People deemed to have hidden evil intentions (detected by the E-meter)
2. People who were unproductive and scored poorly on the personality test
3. Repeated "stat crashers" (people who were held responsible for declines in Scientology organizations' productivity)
4. "Overt product makers" (people who produced poor-quality work)
5. People who spoke against any member of the church or church activity (declared a Suppressive Person)

German fictional film depicting a story about Scientology and its effects upon converts. In the film, a young couple are brought into Scientology by means of manipulation. "Eventually, the husband decides to leave the group, losing not only his wife in the process, but also his young child and a big portion of his family's inheritance, which his wife has donated to the church." The film is reportedly based on the real-life experiences of a German man named Heiner von Rönn.

What kind of government would rule over a “Clear Planet” ? Where would it be run from ?

Would L. Ron endorse something resembling a democracy ?

Well, at least he would want to guarantee everyone equal rights under the law, wouldn’t he ?

Thus, Hubbard’s “tech” produces a new species, introducing a fascinating thread of potential racism into the warp and woof of Scientology. In pursuing the goal of a “Clear Planet” how should the new race, now believing that they are really immortal spirit beings called “Thetans” handle the remaining Homo sapiens who do not believe in or want to join the new “Church” ?

How will the thetans (Homo novis) handle the situation if large numbers, some significant percentage of the population, refuse to join Scientology ?

The Instruction judge has ordered searches. Some pieces related to scientology have been seized. The cult protested against that, speaking of "ecclesiastical secret". The magistrate refused, underlining that scientology had not the church's characters according to the usual sense. No recourse have been undertaken against that decision. Then two years later, the IRS in an administrative decision, granted Scientology its status, which was in direct contradiction to the court case two years prior. To make the issue more complicated, the final negotiations of the IRS/US government agreement was secret, they're sealed, and the government and Scientology here refused to release those final negotiations to the public."

What is Scientology ?

Members are discouraged from discussing Scientology amongst themselves and others, especially those with critical views of the cult. Scientology has a long list of banned materials, including books, magazines, and websites. "Parishioners" are forbidden to view these materials in order to prevent doubt or criticism.

Scientology was founded by L. Ron Hubbard, a hack writer of pulp fiction, in the 1950s. L. Ron Hubbard lied about nearly every aspect of his life. He claimed to be a war hero during WWII, but Naval records show he was mediocre at best. He is the only Naval officer to ever attack Mexican territory when, as a commanding officer, he shelled the Coronado Islands. He then blamed the incident on his crew.

Operates many front groups to generate income for the cult.

Do Scientologists really believe this stuff ?

This assistance might involve holding you against your will for an indefinite period, isolating you from friends and family, and denying you access to appropriate medical care. You will of course be billed for this treatment - assuming you survive it. If not, the release form absolves your caretakers of all responsibility for your suffering and death. Welcome to the Church of Scientology."

Fundamentals' purity thus authenticated, celebrities lent their support to the promotion of Hubbard's racism.
