By ninemsn staff Tom Cruise's biographer has been forced into hiding to escape threats from Scientologists insisting he shelve the project. Andrew Morton — whose books have unearthed explosive revelations about Princess Diana, Monica Lewinsky and Madonna — said pressure from Cruise's Church of Scientology associates had led him to sell his London flat. "I'm not telling anyone where I’m moving to. I intend to disappear for a while." The former tabloid reporter's impending book explores the secretive Hollywood actor's relationship with former Dawson's Creek star Katie Holmes, his sexuality and the couple's controversial beliefs. Morton claims the Mission Impossible star's family and friends had been instructed not to speak to him. Warnings from the cult have deterred journalists in previous attempts to expose Cruise's private life. According to internet sources, Scientology theology describes an episode in the earth's history when aliens detonated hydrogen bombs. Some followers believe another attack is imminent. |
