La société SWITCH supprime le domaine ignorantia.ch Pour identification insuffisante et suite à une plainte la société SWITCH (société suisse qui attribue les noms de domaine) a supprimé l'inscription du domaine ignorantia.ch dont contenu diffamait Jean-Luc Barbier.
Petit résumé de la situation: Le domaine ignorantia.ch annoncé comme étant celui de M. Jean Bertrand (?), accuse Jean-Luc Barbier président de l'AVDS, d'être un hérétique, un anti-religieux et un extrémiste ! (sic) Après enquête les adresses du responsable de ce domaine se sont avérées comme étant fausses ! Ce site associait dans ces pages des sectes nuisibles avec des groupes religieux respectables ce qui prêtait à confusion. Il faisait par exemple une large propagande pour l'Eglise descientologie souvent condamnée pour escroquerie (60'000 membres dans le monde) à côté d'un lien présentant une communauté indienne reconnue mondialement: les sikhs (plusieurs millions de sikhs dans le monde). Qui pouvait donc bien se cacher derrière une telle action ? On ne le saura sans doute jamais.

Curry County Commissioners agreed Tuesday not to pursue a contract with an Albuquerque rehabilitation program aimed at treating habitual drug offenders. County Manager Lance Pyle told commissioners at Tuesday’s meeting the Second Chance Center has neglected to return a signed contract to the county since the commission approved it in June, but has billed the county for inmate care totaling more than $4,500. The bills include student program fees at a rate of $37.50 a day and charges for drug screenings, over-the counter medications, vitamins and some prescription medications. And despite requests, the center is not sending progress reports on the inmates in their care, Pyle said. Pyle suggested the county not contract with the center and use the funds that would have gone to the program to aid in staffing and improvements at the detention center. County Attorney Stephen Doerr told commissioners if they choose to enter into an agreement with Second Chance in the future, they will likely need to solicit a bid and start the process over again. “We’ve been operating for three months without a contract so there’s been a breach,” he said. Commissioners voted to pay the bills received from Second Chance and follow Pyle’s suggestion to redirect the money that had been budgeted back into jail improvements. “I’m OK with the program but it needs to be fine tuned,” Chairman Albin Smith said. “I would like to keep (the idea) open, if they fix some of the issues.” His concerns were echoed by commissioners, who said they support efforts to curb recidivism but believe the efforts and the results need to be measurable and have accountability. Sheriff Matt Murray told commissioners 13 Curry County inmates have gone to the program and only three graduated, two of whom have returned to jail since. Second Chance bases its communications drills on the research of L. Ron Hubbard, founder of the Church of Scientology, according to the program’s Web site. The national alternative sentencing treatment program has recently come under fire for accusations of inflated success rates. In July, Albuquerque television station KRQE released an investigative report downgrading Second Chance’s self-stated success rating from 90 percent to about 32 percent and identified six program instructors touted as program successes who had been rearrested. Second Chance officials said the TV station’s report was inaccurate and declined to comment further citing patient confidentiality. Judges have sent more than 90 convicts to the facility since it opened in September 2006 and the federal government and the state have allocated $1.57 million to Second Chance, KRQE reported. A message left Tuesday with Second Chance staff in Albuquerque seeking comment was not returned.

"Tom Cruise is like the Michael Jordan of acting," Foxx, 37, tells Britain's Guardian about his Collateral costar. "He looks like he has everything, and he does. He has never had a fall. So people are looking for him to trip and fall." Seeing the matter in a different light, the 81-year-old Bacall – a star since the 1940s – says of Cruise in the latest issue of Time magazine: "His whole behavior is so shocking. It's inappropriate and vulgar and absolutely unacceptable to use your private life to sell anything commercially, but I think it's kind of a sickness." Foxx, however, sees nothing out of the ordinary when it comes to the suddenness of the Cruise-Holmes affair. The Ray star says Cruise has told him he did "not like not being in a relationship". Cruise, 43, raised eyebrows over his very public displays of affection with his 26-year-old wife-to-be Katie Holmes. His acts ranged from jumping up and down on Oprah Winfrey's couch, to stopping and kissing her at each and every premiere of War of the Worlds, to announcing their wedding engagement at a Paris press conference for his movie. But that was off the screen. How does Bacall rate the on-screen performances of the male heartthrob? As she tells Time: "When you talk about a great actor, you're not talking about Tom Cruise." Angers continuera d'interdire les publications des Scientologues
Malgré l'interdiction prononcée en septembre par un juge de
proximité, la Ville d'Angers va continuer d'interdire la diffusion, sur le
domaine public, de documents émanant de l'église de Scientologie.
Pour mémoire, Jean-Claude Antonini avait pris un arrêté interdisant aux scientologues de diffuser une petite revue, Le chemin du bonheur. Celle-ci utilisait le format de la revue municipale, empruntant le logo de la Ville et reprenant même un éditorial du premier magistrat. Le tribunal administratif de Nantes en 2007, puis le Conseil d'Etat en 2008, avait débouté la Scientologie de sa demande de référé déposé contre cet arrêté. Le maire Jean-Claude Antonini estime aujourd'hui que "seule une juridiction administrative peut prononcer l'annulation d'un arrêté pris par un maire, or le jugement auquel il est fait allusion est celui rendu par un juge de proximité", dont la décision "n'a qu'une valeur relative".

Les deux enfants d'une adepte de l'Eglise de Scientologie demandent que la justice fasse la lumière sur le suicide de leur mère il y a deux ans. Avant de se donner la mort, Gloria Lopez s'était ruinée pour évoluer dans la hiérarchie du mouvement. Ses enfants doivent être entendus par l'Office de répression de la violence contre les personnes. Le 21 décembre 2006, au petit matin, Gloria Lopez, se poste sur une voie de chemin à la gare de Colombes dans les Hauts-de-Seine. A 47 ans, elle met fin à ses jours, happée par un train. Ses enfants, sous le choc, ne comprennent pas cet acte désespéré. Ils décident alors d'éplucher la correspondance de leur mère et découvrent de nombreuses lettres montrant qu'elle avait dépensé des sommes faramineuses au profit de l'Eglise de Scientologie, au moins 200 000 euros. Gloria était endettée auprès des banques et avait dilapidé son héritage pour acheter des cours de Scientologie et évoluer dans la hiérarchie du mouvement appartenant à la liste des organisations sectaires établie en 1995 par le Parlement. Dans sa dernière missive, elle explique que sa situation était devenue insupportable: "J'ai la considération que c'est un cycle raté. Pour l'instant, je perds de l'argent, au lieu d'en gagner pour le Pont (je dois réunir de quoi payer les frais quand je serai au Danemark et aux USA pour les niveaux d'OT*) (...). Malgré toutes les choses que j'ai comprises, je ne m'améliore pas, au travail je fais des erreurs." Pour son ex-mari, Pascal Le Berre, tout est clair: la Scientologie a profité de Gloria et l'a escroquée. Une analyse partagée par ses deux enfants, Mathilde et Gwenn qui voient un lien direct entre la mort de leur mère et la Scientologie. Pour faire la lumière sur son suicide, ils ont porté plainte, avec constitution de partie civile. Ils doivent être entendus par les enquêteurs de l'Office central de répression de la violence contre les personnes (OCRVP). Pressions sur la famille Selon une note des Renseignements généraux, les proches de Gloria Lopez auraient également subi des pressions de la part de la Scientologie. Après la mort de la femme, ils auraient été approchés immédiatement pour leur proposer une transaction financière contre la promesse de ne pas engager de poursuites.Une version des faits erronée selon la Scientologie, qui affirme que c'est le mari de Gloria Lopez qui l'a contacté en premier. NANTERRE (AFP) — Les deux enfants d'une adepte de l'Eglise de Scientologie, qui soupçonnent des liens entre ce mouvement et le suicide de leur mère, ont été entendus mercredi par des enquêteurs à Nanterre, ont-ils annoncé jeudi à l'AFP. "Au terme de cette audition qui a duré six heures, nous avons porté plainte", a expliqué Gwenn Le Berre, 20 ans, qui a été entendu avec sa soeur dans les locaux de l'Office central pour la répression des violences aux personnes (OCRVP). "Maintenant, tout le système judiciaire va se mettre en route, on n'est plus dans le flou", a-t-il ajouté. "On avait perdu espoir" d'être entendus dans ce dossier, "aujourd'hui, ça me redonne un peu confiance en la justice", a aussi expliqué le jeune homme. Le 21 décembre 2006, Gloria Lopez, qui faisait partie de l'Eglise de Scientologie depuis une dizaine d'années, avait mis fin à ses jours à l'âge de 47 ans, en se faisant happer par un train à la gare de Colombes (Hauts-de-Seine). Sa famille avait découvert à son domicile de nombreuses lettres écrites de sa propre main et des documents montrant qu'elle avait dépensé "des sommes très importantes" au profit de l'Eglise de Scientologie, "au moins 200.000 euros", selon son ex-époux, Pascal Le Berre. "A la vue de ces documents, il est évident que la Scientologie a profité d'elle et l'a escroquée. Elle était endettée auprès des banques et avait dilapidé un héritage pour acheter des cours à l'avance et grimper dans la hiérarchie" du mouvement, avait-il expliqué à l'AFP à la mi-octobre. La famille a également dénoncé des "pressions" de la Scientologie pour obtenir son silence. Selon une note des Renseignements généraux, révélée par Libération et Le Parisien, et dont la teneur a été confirmée à l'AFP par une source proche du dossier, les proches de Mme Lopez avaient été approchés immédiatement après sa mort pour leur proposer une transaction financière contre la promesse de ne pas engager de poursuites contre la Scientologie. Devant le refus de la famille, "diverses manoeuvres dilatoires étaient mises en oeuvre", selon les extraits publiés dans la presse, notamment une sorte d'"enquête de moralité" menée par un membre de la Scientologie auprès des élèves de Pascal Le Berre, enseignant de profession. Commentaire d'anti-scientologie Dès que Jean-Luc Barbier a déposé sa plainte pénale contre la scientologie (Genève 1991) la même méthode de dénigrement a été utilisée par la scientologie contre sa personne. Il ne s'agit aucunement d'une coïncidence car cette secte pousse ses adeptes à agir ainsi. En Suisse lorsque la justice n'arrive pas à déterminer les responsabilités de chaque membre d'une secte elle doit juger à la personne morale qui les emploie. Ce n'est pas ce que le Procureur a fait dans le procès de Jean-Luc Barbier contre la scientologie. Le Procureur s'est contenté d'écrire dans son jugement que les preuves n'étaient pas suffisantes pour poursuivre les quatre scientologues inculpés ... (ils ont bien menti à la justice) et que la prescription était presque atteinte (de la faute à qui?) ! En France ce procès sera enfin celui de la scientologie (personne morale) et non celui d'un lampiste, bouc émissaire d'un mouvement qui aurait dû être interdit depuis longtemps.
