Tout d'abord, éliminons tout malentendu: les Anonymous ne sont pas des hackers ni des cyberterroristes. Ils ne sont pas des opposants à la libertés, ou à la religion. Les Anonymous ne s'en prennent aucunement aux scientologues en tant que personnes, ni à leurs croyances personnelles.
Le but des Anonymous est De démontrer
les méfaits de l'organisation "Église de Scientologie"
(et ses nombreuses facettes légales telles Religious Technology
Center, Narconon, "religious freedom watch" etc) envers
le grand public, et envers ses propres membres.
De contre-balancer l'incroyable énergie qu'elle déploie, par son utilisation abusive du système légal (attaques en justice à répétition) ou par ses tactiques d'intimidation et de diffamation, pour faire taire les critiques.

Ce témoignages bouleversant a été recueilli à Washington D.C par les Anonymous lors de la manifestation du 15 mars 2008. Cette jeune femme de parents scientologues est née dans la secte. Ses parents se sont rencontrés dans la secte et elle y a vécu toute son enfance. Elle explique publiquement comment son père s'est suicidé le 5 mai 2001 à cause des manipulations écrasantes de la scientologie. April 12, 2008: Anonymous Announces Operation Reconnect
In our continuing efforts against the Church of Scientology, Anonymous is launching Operation Reconnect. Projected to take place in the month of April, this operation will shine a spotlight on families torn apart by the Church of Scientology. "The aim is to bring these families together," commented an organizer who identified himself as David Mudkip. The name of this operation stems from the Church of Scientology's notorious 'disconnection policy', under which individuals within the Church are forbidden contact with those whom the Church deems to be a threat to its security. This policy is used frequently by the Church of Scientology to separate families, creating a rift between those outside the Church and those trapped within it. This also serves the purpose of removing any social supports an individual has outside the Church, making it more difficult for them to end their affiliation with this organization. Since Anonymous set out on a campaign against the Church of Scientology, a number of individuals have stepped forth with accounts of their personal experiences within the Church. Many of these people described the negative influence exerted by the Church of Scientology on their families. On April 12th some of these individuals will be relating their experiences to the public as speakers at peaceful demonstrations.

Première: une manif contre la Scientologie
Un groupe veut réunir 300'000 personnes dans le monde. Et à Bruxelles... Du jamais
vu, si tout se réalise comme prévu par le groupe
de lutte contre l'"Eglise" de scientologie, "Anonymous".
Après avoir appelé voilà peu de temps au
harcèlement des sites Internet de la scientologie, ce
mouvement international - et qui a semble-t-il un pilier belge
- organise, le dimanche 10 février, une manifestation
tout aussi internationale. Sur le site américain de NBC11,
"Anonymous" annonçait lundi ne pas désespérer
de réunir quelque 300'000 personnes. Aux Etats- Unis
mais aussi en Europe. Et, en particulier, à Bruxelles
où les scientologues ont établi un siège
majeur.
Partout, l'heure de rassemblement sera la même : 11 heures locales (1). Partout, la violence sera exclue au profit de la bonne humeur, annonce "Anonymous". Mais partout, le slogan "Nous n'oublions pas, nous ne pardonnons pas et nous sommes nombreux" pourrait fleurir... C'est que la scientologie est réputée, dans plusieurs pays dont le nôtre, être une organisation sectaire. Côté droit commun, elle a de surcroît été inculpée en Belgique, même en tant que personne morale, pour organisation crimi- nelle et association de malfaiteurs ainsi que pour des infractions d'extorsion, d'escroquerie et on en passe. Le parquet fédéral belge avait tracé un réquisitoire en ce sens en septembre 2007 (l'"Eglise" étant présumée inno- cente en l'attente d'un jugement). Bref, si la manifestation obtient un certain succès, à Bruxelles et ailleurs, ce sera la première fois que d'anciens adeptes floués et ceux qui critiquent les sectes seront aussi visibles. Or, pour les scientologues, cela tombe mal car, confrontée au vieillissement de ses adhérents et à une fréquen- tation hésitante, leur multinationale change petit à petit ses méthodes de recrutement et de communication pour tenter de redorer son image. Der Ursprung der dezentral organisierte Protestbewegung liegt im Internet, in
dem Wiki "Projekt Chanology"
Sueddeutsche.de sprach mit einem der Aktivisten, der wie die gesamte Gruppe unerkannt bleiben möchte und sich anon002 nennt. sueddeutsche.de: Was verbirgt sich hinter Anonymous und dem Projekt Chanology ? anon002: Das Wesen des Projekts ist, dass es dezentral organisiert ist. Es gibt niemanden, der das steuert, sondern es finden sich im Netz langjährige Scientology-Gegner zusammen. Sie stellen Informationen ins Internet und organisieren die weltweit stattfindenden Demos. Jeder von uns macht das, was er am besten kann. sueddeutsche.de: In die Öffentlichkeit ist "Anonymous" mit dem martialischen Video "Message to Scientology" getreten, das der Organisation den Krieg erklärt. Daraufhin folgten Hackerangriffe gegen deren Website, die nicht nur juristisch illegal sind, sondern teilweise auch Unbeteiligte trafen. Ist das der richtige Weg, um sich zu wehren? anon002: Die Hackerangriffe sehe ich durchaus ambivalent. Dass Unbeteiligte von des Angriffen betroffen waren, finde ich nicht richtig. Aber unsere Aktionen haben dazu geführt, dass Öffentlichkeit und Medien Scientology kritischer betrachten. Ich sehe diese ersten Aktionen als Startschuss für weitere friedliche Proteste wie Demonstrationen und Informations- kampagnen gegen eine totalitäre und menschenverachtende Sekte. Das Project Chanology kam ins Rollen, weil Scientology das Video, in dem Tom Cruise unter anderem davon spricht, dass die Welt frei von Supressive Persons, also Scientology- Gegnern, sein soll, aus dem Netz nehmen wollte. Das ist ihnen nicht geglückt - auch weil es inzwischen einfach zu viele sind, die das entlarvende Video ins Internet gestellt haben. sueddeutsche.de: Sie verlagern den Protest jetzt vom Netz auf die Straße. Kann man online nicht genügend Menschen mobilisieren? anon002: Wenn man auf der medialen Ebene den Kampf gegen Scientology gewinnen will, muss man das Netz verlassen und auf die Straße gehen. So erreichen wir deutlich mehr Öffentlichkeit. Der Protest auf der Straße soll auch zeigen, dass es viele sind, für die Scientology eine gefährliche Sekte ist. Ich halte nichts von Verschwörungstheorien, dass Scientology die Weltherrschaft an sich reißen will. Aber die Scientology arbeitet mit Stasi-Methoden, die Gegner diffamiert und beispielsweise im Internet an den Pranger stellt. Deshalb werden sich einige Demonstranten am Sonntag zwar nicht vermummen, da das verboten ist, aber sicher mit Mütze und Sonnenbrille auf die Straße gehen. Nur so können wir weiter anonym bleiben. sueddeutsche.de: In Deutschland beobachtet der Verfassungsschutz Scientology. Die Behörde sieht Anhaltspunkte für Bestrebungen gegen die freiheitliche demokratische Grundordnung. Scientology hat gegen diese Praxis geklagt. Das Verfahren wird am Dienstag beim Oberverwaltungsgericht in Münster verhandelt. Gibt es einen Zusammenhang zwischen den Demos am Sonntag und dem Verfahren? anon002: Nein, es ist purer Zufall. Der Startschuss der Proteste fiel in den USA. Aber wenn der öffentliche Protest dazu führt, dass die Gefährlichkeit der Sekte wieder stärker diskutiert wird und sich so jeder eine eigene Meinung bilden kann, dann kann uns das nur recht sein.
