Narconon Stone Hawk: Out of $25K-$30K,
over $3,000 spent on "Advertising"

Source: alt.religion.scientology - September 16, 2008
[Texte intégral]

Between 2003 and 2006 inclusively, Narconon Stone Hawk (now "A Forever Recovery") totaled $3,889,685 in "Advertising expenses". For the same period, the entity reported that 1,260 clients enrolled.

This means that over $3,000 was taken from the fees paid by each enrolled clients, just for "advertising" purpose. This, if the stated number of enrolled clients are truthful -- I believe they were lower considering other Narconon Stone Hawk's sources, which would mean the "Advertising" expenses per client is probably even higher.

Makes you wonder who was on the receiving end of the (ridiculously high) "Advertising" expenses.

KATIE HOLMES FACES DEMONSRATIONS ON THEATRE OPENING NIGHT

Katie Holmes' Broadway play 'All My Sons' opens on October 16 and according to reports there are plenty of tickets available. In fact if you buy a ticket then enquire what time it starts the box office staff ask what time you can get there. Well it may actually be worth attending as the anti-Scientology group 'Anonymous' are planning to picket the opening night.

Unfortunately for the receipts, they're planning to stand outside to do this rather than buy tickets, which is a major blow against the show staggering into a second week and they're only doing this on opening night so as not to provide too much publicity for the play. A shadowy spokesman for the group hissed ...

'We aren't looking to shut it down, we don't have the power to do that, we just want to prove a point."

If they don't have the power to close down a production that is already twisting weakly on its deathbed and begging for the misery to end, then this group are hardly going to bring down the fire-breathing Church of Scientology, are they ?

Still, they have a sense of humour, claiming that the reason for their mission is to 'Save Katie', so maybe they have a time machine and some new scripts for 'Dawson's Creek' tucked away.

TOM CRUISE SCIENTOLOGIST HEALTH GURU'S INTIMATE HISTORY
WITH MOTOWN only on Kruezer at Night

L.A. INVESTIGATOR and VIDEO ICON, PAUL BARRESI is assisting Erica McLean pro bono

TEAM KRUEZER finds it fascinating that T.C's Scientologist heath guru FELINE BUTCHER was supposed to stand trial on September 9th but the trial was suddenly postponed until sometime in November. Butcher is charged in LA Superior Court with 18 counts of violation of the Business and Professions Code of the State of California.

Specifically, it is alleged that she has administered treatment to the ill without the authorization required by law.  She's also facing one count of Violation of section 487(a) of the Penal Code of the State of California, i.e. willfully and unlawfully taking the personal property and money of Erica McLean, the widow of Clive McLean.

McLean was Larry Flynt's photographer for Hustler. The FELINE BUTCHER connection has what some might call - actually, MANY would call - an intimate past with MOTOWN which combined with the TOM CRUISE affiliation, makes for a fascinating investigative matrix worthy of the talents of star/director/investigator PAUL BARRESI.

L.A. INVESTIGATOR, GayVN winner, and PORN WORLD ICON, PAUL BARRESI is assisting Erica pro bono. Barresi appeared in a Clive McLean photo on the cover of Hustler in 1978.

We have learned that in the course of his extensive investigation of Butcher, Barresi learned that from the mid 1990s to 1998, Butcher treated and also secretly dated SMOKEY ROBINSON while still married.

After Butcher divorced her husband, Smokey dumped her.

Butcher also treated several other members of the Motown family, including theTEMPTATIONS' baritone MELVIN FRANKLIN.

According to our Wikipedia search, Franklin died February 23, 1995 at the age of 52 of the bacterial flesh eating disease with complications of renal failure.

Butcher also treated Mr. Motown himself, BERRY GORDY.

Other celeb patients treated by Butcher include JAMES EARL JONES and QUEEN LATIFAH.

As for TOM CRUISE and his spokesman's denials of ever having any connection to Butcher, iImpeccable sources confirmed to Barresi that Cruise in fact came to see BUTCHER on 2 occasions, but that he did not return for a 3rd visit due to his personal distaste for her.

Previous French court cases summarized in Le Monde

From Le Monde, here is a succinct timeline of Scientology's legal problems in France.

1978: The founder of Scientology, Lafayette Ron Hubbard, was sentenced in absentia by a Paris court to four years in prison and a fine of 35,000 francs fine for fraud. Three French leaders of Scientology, also convicted, were released later.

1996: The Court of Appeal in Lyon sentenced the former president of Scientology Lyon, Jean-Jacques Mazier, to three years' imprisonment, of which eighteen months was served, and a fine of 500,000 francs for involuntary manslaughter and fraud, following the suicide of a follower. But on appeal, his sentence was fully suspended. Other officials also had their sentences reduced.

1999: Seven Scientologists were tried for fraud in Marseilles. They were accused of selling useless "purification cures." A former regional director was sentenced to two years' imprisonment, with eighteen months suspended, and a fine of 100,000 francs. Four other Scientologists were received suspended sentences of six months to one year.

2002: The movement was convicted as a legal entity for the first time, in Paris. The spiritual association of the Church of Scientology of Ile-de-France (Asesif) and its president were each required to pay 5'000 euros fines for having violated the privacy law and by maintaining computer files on former members of the sect. The sentence was upheld on appeal and in the Supreme Court.

Scientologists Sue State Department

By William Willoughby, Washington Star Staff Writer

Secretary of State Henry Kissinger and the State Department have been sued for $40 million in federal court by the Church of Scientology on the grounds that the department has repeatedly disseminated false information about the church in the United States and abroad.

The action, filed in Los Angeles today, charges that the State Department has infringed the right of the church ministers and some of its students to travel abroad freely, to enjoy the right of privacy and to enjoy the free exercise of religion without government reference.

Jeff Friedman, chairman of the church's National Commission on Law Enforcement and Social Justice, said that the "flagrant and damaging reports" circulated for a number of years by the State Department to embassies, ambassadors and consuls and to officers and agents of several foreign countries.

"AS A RESULT of the dissemination of false information,." Friedman said, "traveling Scientology ministers have been harassed by foreign countries ..."

He charged that one such report had a handmarked distribution of 20 copies to the CIA, plus 110 copies to 16 other agencies such as the FBI, the National Security Council. the Army, Navy and Air Force.

The Church of Scientology, which has been its international headquarters in East Grinstead, England,. and its American headquarters in Los Angeles,. has been the subject of scorn and opposition in the United States, and several other countries, its leaders believe, because it has been outspoken against abuses to the freedom and welfare of individuals.

IT HAS BEEN outspoken in its criticism of treatment of mental patients, and it launched a major campaign against a collection of procedures used by the Internal Revenue Service,.

In recent months, leaning that it was in the:"dirty tricks" list of the CIA and the IRS, the church began using the Freedom of Information law to obtain documents referring to the church from government agencies.

Arthur Maren, the groups minister of p[public affairs in the United States, said the church "will file more than $1 billion in lawsuits" against domestic and foreign agencies if they do not correct the false reports and stop disseminating them.

Scientologists believe they have developed a clinical technique and a moral system that can bring mankind into harmony with its surrounding's. They have extensive programs on drug rehabilitation.

U.S. Involvement in Interpol Condemned by Church of Scientology, Freedom Defense Council

WASHINGTON -- "Membership of terrorist and communist countries in Interpol threatens the security and privacy of every American citizen," Rev. Jim Nicholls, Executive Director of the Freedom Defense Council, charged today at a press conference sponsored by the Church of Scientology.

(...)

"I wasn't able to speak to anyone in Interpol," Willoughby said at the conference, "but I was able to interview Simon Wiesenthal, the famed Nazi hunter, on the subject of Interpol's Nazi history and its blatant refusal to assist him in his search for Nazi fugitives. It became very clear during my conversation with Wiesenthal that U.S. membership in Interpol could well pose a grave danger to our free society in the United States," Willoughby added.

"The United States government has opened up its files to an organization whose membership majority consists of police states, dictatorships or communist-supported regimes," Rev. Stanard said. "Interpol's member countries include Iran, Syria and Libya, countries that Secretary of State George Shultz recently charged with state- supported terrorism.

SCIENTOLOGY CONFERENCE, ANAHEIM CONVENTION CENTER

Aug. 25-29 1976

from Henrietta Crampton

On Aug. 26 two Scientologists visited us in our home in an effort, they said, to resolve our differences. They asked me to tell parents who are dissatisfied because their children are in Scientology to contact them directly so they can resolve the problem. They particularly wanted to know if we planned to protest at the conference.

(...)

William Willoughby was seen chatting with the Scientologists. He still presents the cult viewpoint. He does not believe, for example, that parents are denied the right to visit their children at the Alamo Foundation. Please, Alamo parents, write to him and tell your experiences when you attempted to visit your children.

Several people asked us "Who is behind you?" They just cannot understand how parents have been able to unite to expose cults. By instinct, parents protect they young at all costs. That is what we are trying to do. By openly showing these cult leaders that we do not fear them, we have taken the offense and that is the best defense.
